Drink and Be Merry

8 Dec

I went to the Fine Finds/Vasanji Holiday Party last week and couldn’t get enough of this lovely drink concocted with champagne and Wild Hibiscus Flowers in syrup:

The flower was surprisingly sweet (flavored by the blueberry syrup bath it sits in) and had a pleasant jelly-like texture. To create your own simply:

1. Pluck hibiscus from jar and place in champagne flute
2. Fill glass with the champagne of your choice

For non-alcoholic versions, substitute in white grape sparkling juice. Enjoy!

Thanks so much 🙂 If you’re from Vancouver, you can get them at Whole Foods or Capers. Otherwise, try your local specialty grocery or the Wild Hibiscus online shop: http://www.wildhibiscus.com/shop/index.html

      Hope that helps!
